Vern is survived by his wife, Suetwan Chan Young; sons, Eric Maeser Young, Brian Carlyle Young (Holly), Jonathon Ryan Young; stepsons, Alan and Ivan Bostrom; three granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Christine Young.
